SRT6 or?
Ok, I'm still thinking my next new car will be another Crossfire, only the SRT6 version! But ones I need to test drive are new C6, maybe the Cayman "Boxster cpe" and maybe a used Jag XKR an 00'-02' about $35-40K.
The new Porsche Cayman is too high priced for a cpe version of the Boxster S at a starting price of $58k! About 20K more than a new 05' SRT6 cpe and 911 are closer to $75k+.
The C6 with some extras comes in around the same 55K!
So that leaves the SRT6 at $38k-40 for a new cpe.
Or a used XKR 390hp for $35K!
Anyone have some replacements in mind for their Crossfire?
Seems like all cars I want are all $20,000 more!

personally, my next car is going to be bigger, a small coupe is fun but in the future i am going to be needing more passenger room for clients. i have been leaning toward an infiniti either g35 sedan, fx45 or a cts-v. but out of your list i think i would take the jag, i have always like the xjr, i could only imagine how the xkr performs.

i really like the new Cayman S, very chic car.
i really wouldn't want the SRT-6 no reason to get it, same car, nothing nice about it, no new gadgets or advanced controls. but i love those cool things, and the ball steering is annoying.

350ish horses with a matching performance suspension and transmission is what's nice about it.....

The old auto vs. stick debate works for '80 camaro's but as far as MB is concerned...you will not find a performance stick...even up to their SL65's, SLR's, etc...so an autostick in the SRT-6 is a given...0-60 in 4.9 seconds in a, for the most part, well-built comfortable 2-door coupe...cool...

The Cayman S is nice, they say it is going to be the best handling full production Porsche ever. But for that coin, I would spend a bit more and buy the new Z06.
Once I get bored with SRT-4 and the lease is up on the XF, I would be looking into Shelby GT500, used 05' GTO or maybe a SRT-6. Will have to be in the mid 20's by then. Just wish they came in 6 speed.
