What If DeLorean Had Succeeded
In the August issue of Car & Driver magazine, on page 88, several designers were asked what they thought the 2020 DeLorean would have looked like if the marque had succeeded. One of the designers the magazine reached out to was Eric Stoddard. If you get a chance, check out his artist rendering of a 2020 DeLorean. Pretty cool!!

I was his bag man when he flew in with the GM. G3, the General Motors today might be a more dynamic organization, he was a magnetic personality to say the least.RIP John Z.

Two of the designs are very attractive looking. Not so sure what the guy who came up with the design in the middle was thinking. I guess a gullwing, crossover off-road car? Not so sure DeLorean would have went that direction. Cool article though with Eric Stoddard nailing that design. I wonder what Eric would’ve done with the Crossfire, had it been a success and he stayed with the company?
