Drove parents cars until graduating college in 1986. I paid for college, they let me drive one of their cars. (Pontiac Safari Station Wagon, Chrysler Cordoba, Pontiac Phoenix, '80 Toyota Celica Supra.) I think it was a good deal.

'80 Toyota Celica Supra - bought from Dad when I graduated
'76 Chrysler Cordoba - bought from Dad when I got married, needed 2nd car (6-8 mpg, good thing I lived close to work)
'85 Toyota Celica Supra - Super Dark Red - best car I've owned
'90 Ford Explorer - 1st new car (for wife) - kids on the way
'94 Ford Explorer - 2nd new car (for wife) - a little nicer than the 1st one
'93 Pontiac Bonneville SSEi - 3 kids don't fit in a Supra but I should have kept it (the Supra) around for fun.
'00 Dodge Grand Caravan - 3 kids and a dog going on vacation don't fit in Explorer
'85 Toyota Celica Supra - Black this time, sick of driving big cars
'06 Toyota Highlander - 3rd new car (for wife) (anybody see a pattern?)
'97 Toyota Camry - from inlaws for kids to drive
'05 Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 Roadster - replaced Black Supra that was turning into a money pit.

Bikes
'82 Yamaha Seca 400 (brand new out of the crate in '86)
'84 Honda Nighthawk S
'85 Honda V65 Sabre
'88 Kawasaki Concours
'99 Honda ST1100

I have owned a lot of cars but few I really miss. Three that I do miss are:
  • 1954 Studebaker Starliner Coupe with a Packard V8 and overdrive transmission. For it's day, it was a screamer (light years ahead of that that new six cylinder Chevy Corvette that everyone knows will not amount to a thing!)
  • 1967 SS Chevelle with the 375 HP, 396 engine and solid lifters (NASCAR rated it at 425 HP). A wonderful straight line powerhouse.
  • 1969 Porsche 911S. Bought this one in Germany and used it over there. A real slot car but needed tinkering from time to time.
The odd thing is that the SRT6 has captured some of the best of these vehilces. It may not be as comfortable but it sure is a road car!

This is my other car, 1979 Datsun 280ZX. i was planning on doing the 350 SB engine swap but it's currently for sale so i can get air ride for my crossfire.

AND THE CROSSFIRE BEFORE IT WAS PAINTED AND BEFORE THE WHELS WERE POWDERCOATED.

SORRY but MUCH, MUCH prefer the chromes on your Crossfire, HATE the powder coated wheels, just MY opinion, BUT accept Everyone to his own.

1-1972 Toyota 2 Dr. coupe 2 speed auto (killed in an accident)
2-1974 Toyota Corolla 4 dr sedan 3/4 speed stick (can't remember which)
3-1969 Pontiac Grand Prix J Model 400C.I. 4 barrel QuadraJet with the big tranny. Bought off my Dad, what a beast that one was.
4-1980 Dodge Omni with a 2 barrel holly carb. Drove that hybrid POS for 9 years, best little car I ever had. We got over 90,000 miles out that poor thing.
5-1989 Colt 2 dr.
6-1994 Mitsubishi Colt (stripped down model)
7-1998 Dodge Dakota 4 cyl. (what a dog)
8-2001 Pt Cruiser loaded down base model, it had stuff on it that the latter models didn't come with, killed in an accident
9-1990 Dodge shadow, paid cash for it and drove it while I fought with my insurrance co. over the settlement on the Cruiser.
10-2003 PT Cruiser Touring Automatic, that was the first car I got to have fun with doing all kind of mods with, one of the best looking PT's out there(IMO) lol
11-2003 PT Cruiser Dream Series II Turbo with the 5 Speed Getrag Tranny (Wife's car) we had two Cruisers at the same time. That was one hot little Cruiser, that turbo would kick in and would leave alot of unsuspecting people with their mouth open, heheheh.
12-2004 PT Cruiser Dream Series III Turbo with the Getrag tranny, couldn't let the wife have all the fun now could I.
13-2007 Crossfire Limited Coupe 6 Speed SSB, finally a real car!
14-2008 Pontiac Solstice GXP (for the wife), wish I hadn't traded the DC II for that POS.
15-2005 Crossfire Limited Roadster Alabaster auto, traded the Solstice for this one, a far better car all around.

7 - 1974 Porsche 914
8 - 1975 Porsche 911 (lost this one in a divorce)
9 - 1970 Porsche 914-6 (really loved this one)
10 - 1973 Porsche 914
11 - xxx MG-B (don't remember the year)
12 - 1963 Corvair Convertable

It was a surprising quick car (as it was my first and didn't know any better) and cornering was not great. You could fit 8 in the front and 10 in trunk!
