Default Good bye Turbo budget, hi Harley!

Hey guys I always thought I would be one of the first ones out there with a turbo on the limited. But after seeing that there was no great kit out there and that no one was having good luck I decided to find happiness with Harley. So I spent the budget from the turbo on a 2008 black, 1200cc Sportster Nightster, it came to 10K sticker. Its a great bike, I'm just really happy with it. See the picture.

Thumbs up Re: Good bye Turbo budget, hi Harley!

Nice bike.
It would be a little small for me, but I dig the looks and the black outs.

Yep, nice - much better than the turbo.
Too small for me though.
Now, different pipes, air intake & carb, drop some wilder cams in it.
Baker do a 6 speed box (~ $2,200).

I'm a longtime HD guy myself. My current is an '03 Springer Softail ... There's not a turbo out there that I'd trade for!

That's definitely a much wiser and more efficient use of $10k, as compared to a supercharger kit. take the bike anyday. Though I'm not wild about Harleys. its money well spent.

Booo! I like Harley's but I like turbos better. San Diego, CA has too many bad drivers for me to consider purchasing a bike.

Yup - one of my best friends and his passenger were killed by a hit and run driver on his Honda V65 back in 1984 at Padre Island has he left work. I was at his house waiting for him to call and tell me where to meet.

Very sad. But I still ride just about every day.

My father died too in 1991, he was on a dirt bike. But my love for bikes goes on.

OH YEAH, got to love a Harley, I have an '04 Softail Deuce. Here's a pic, but it's about a year old. I gave 20K for it new in '03 and have around 28K in it now.
