Anyone ever seen a CIRBIN?
While I was at New Smyrna this past Sunday I saw a pair of these. Regretably I wasn't in my Crossfire or I would have seen just how fast they're suppose to be. I talked with the owners for a few minutes, they are built in Canada, and they were down here to show them for bike week. They are suppose to do 0-60 in 4.5 and top out at 130mph. I will say that in person they look a lot nicer than the web site shows, and they look like they would be a bunch of fun to drive. The pics on the site really don't show them very well, at least to me. Check out the link:

Looks like they took em to the Dragons Tail for their photo shoot.
I bet they would be a blast navigating those curves.
I wonder how well they were received by the "bikers" in Fla.

Good point, I'm not really sure.
Hell, if Chrysler can get the Magnum classified as a truck I suppose anything is possible!
I have seen them before, never i person they are based off the Trex more like copied if you ask me but none the less exotic looking.
They are classified as a three wheel bike so crash testing wouldn't be an issue. The guy there also told me they will pull 1.5g's in the turns.
A few years ago Volkswagen was showing their GX3 three wheeler at all the major shows. I spoke with one of the designers at the LA Auto Show at the time and he said they were targeting a $17,000 price point. I told him I'd sell my Miata in a heartbeat and get one as soon as they hit the market. Well, it seems the VW lawyers killed the project for liability reasons so it was never to be.
It all worked out in the end though.... I sold the Miata and got a Crossfire!!

That's pretty cool... not sure if I'd trust other drivers not to run over me
And is it just more or does it look kind of like a Crab? Or some kind of sea bottom dweller... not saying it's ugly that's just the first thing that popped into my head.
Course being from MD everything reminds me of Crabs... mmm... Crabs.

I saw them at SEMA last Fall. They were in the front "tent". They are classified as a motorcycle, so they follow those regs and guidelines. I asked about the price and was told "....in the $50K range, loaded".
For that money I could get an SRT Roadster to go along with my coupe AND a nice motorcyle as well...
