A testament not only to the McDonald Douglas F-15 but to the Israeli pilot who no doubt trained on the bird in the US !

That's more damage than what B-17s suffered.

The pilot really should have punched out but still, what a remarkable demonstration of flying skill.

I agree, he was dumb-*** lucky. Going into AB nose down, then correcting attitude, navigator not informing him of damage, wing man not doing a 12 hour clock look, not losing gear power/hydrailics, saw speed brake up but no drag chute when landed. Should have met him with a botle of Slivovitz--nas strowy
