Default 2011 Ford Mustang GT - 5.0

I just read the MT article on the new 2011 Mustang and Mustang GT.
Both have 6spds, DOHC, and are quite fast and fuel efficient. I was definitely impressed.
The GT ran the quarter in 12.8 at 110.xx mph. That thing was moving.

Anyone else read the article? The downside, I saw, you have to spend $3200 to get a nicer interior, but overall a very nice package.

There are a couple 2011 Mustang GTs already running 10s in the 1/4 mile.

With only a change of gears, slicks/skinnies, and a 100shot of nitrous...

...impressive to say the least.

I believe it! WOW!!! I bet they sound bada$$ too! I could really see it being able to get into the 11's without Nitrous pretty easily and 10's just like you said a shot away. Impressive! The car is very strong right out of the box. The new cobra is no slouch either...They dropped 120lbs by re-engineering the block and making it out of aluminum with sprayed in liners. Ford is really doing some cool stuff!
