I know Paul and I are looking forward to seeing how far we can push the limits.

Rudy, is there room enough in an R171 engine bay for that beast? If so, just thinkin' isn't there a Crossfire with a R171 front clip?

Rudy,
You should go post this on MBWorld.org. Those guys will go nuts over this....
...if you haven't posted it already.

Congratulations Rudy, I knew there had to be something going on when you got rid of that SRT....
Paul shorted me a ride in the yellow beast, while everyone else got to ride in it or even drive it, Molly and I had to hear all about it and never actually get into it
so now we expect a pass or two down the strip in the C

There is a local guy that has a cl600 for sale, $24,000, and it is eating at me a bit. Having a much smaller car with the big power, is much more appealing though. AWSOME

Once the house is done and I have some extra cash in the bank. Plus, I have less of temptation because I have never ridden or driven

You make it sound like I snubbed you and Molly or something?
The truth is Friday and Saturday night we were all drinking and I don't drive my car after a drink is poured by myself (not less with my friends). During the day we were tearing up the mountain in different groups. Now on Sunday morning I'm sure some folks remember me looking for both you and Molly to take a run before Rudy, Rob, Liz and I had to head back. Several folks went out for a ride and even drove my car including Steve's GF Chris.
Given the circumstances I really wished that I had caught up with you on Sunday, lots may have been different. In any event we will catch up as soon as this white stuff is gone and the little yellow rocket comes out from beneath the cover.
Happy New Year my friend and all stay safe...

I jumped in Paul's car for a ride before taking my group on the Smokey Mountain run Sunday morning.
Paul said he wanted to see you and Molly before he had to leave.
Once I returned (with permagrin) I left with my group quickly for our Sunday run as they had been waiting on me.
It was a ride I will never forget.
