This is not the fastest by far that my Jeep ran, but this is the quickest 0-60 run I have on video. This is equivalent to a 1/8 mile run of 7.5 or so, but I had the Jeep down to 7.1's with around 800HP before I sold it.

Nice, a neighbor of ours has the Jeep SRT-8 with twin turbos mounted in the rear. HP is well beyond 1000. That is one insane Jeep to say the least.

 

smokin' all fours would get expensive.....I do miss the one I had for a short while...but fuel just wasn't getttin' it....we even had fun with it...put strobes on it in the beginning, used it locally on the old police dept I retired from....turned some eyes,....then the chief bought a magnum instead...I kept the Jeep for 6 months, turned it in...they are a nice ride...wouldn't rule out a used one in the future, as I am selling the enclosed car trailer now...and will unload the ole' tahoe as well...

 

I am already looking into the new 2012 SRT-8 GCs. Have heard rumors that they will start mid-40s.

Is his name Chris Bronkie? If so, he's part owner of Lewis Performance Machine and he's the current record holder for the fastest/quuickest Jeep SRT8 in the 1/4 mile (9.4* @ 14*). He built the engine I installed in the Jeep that had me trapping 100MPH in the 1/8th.
