That is so COOL! Looks like it could have military use but does remind me of a scene from The Wizard of OZ

Wow! Real cool. I had seen him on discovery a year ago or so. His prior wing design had folded wing tips to be able to exit the plane. Seems he simplified the design and now uses a chopper as a launch platform. He is still using 4 mini gas turbines. His cruise speed must be 250 knots or more
