Default Model cars are fun!

Some of my projects! I encourage everyone to go buy one and have some fun. You will have a blast unless you're impatient

Those look good.

Just recently I sold all my model cars from the attic. I had built them as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Most were actually coming apart but sold at very very good prices on eBay.

It' funny that model cars should come up, a client of mine, just last week gave me 165 unopened, sealed model car kits. All produced in the 1990's. Most are from Japan, US and Italy. Brands like Protar, AMT, Monogram, Revell, Tamiya, Lindberg, Fujimi, Italia/Testor. I was amazed at the collection he purchased and never assembled.

Have you still got the RC Crossfire model? I only know of our two on the forum, mine came with a UK transformer. As far as I know it has never been out of the box. I remember a photo of your one sitting on your cars spoiler.

They are 1:10 scale, so quite a nice size.

Really excellent work on the models. The Pontiac looks like glass - and your ageing techniques are awesome -love the patina!

Make that three on the forum. I also have one. Unfortunately, it did not come with the remote control. I was unable to locate a direct replacement, so I decided to upgrade the remote control system. It's a work in progress. I upgraded it with a fully proportional radio system, servo, and speed control. It also has a third channel for new LED lights. The power pack was replaced to use 6 AA NI-MH batteries.

James what would do you think an 10:1 scale RC model like ours in the box and unused is worth please, I am thinning the herd a bit. So it, the humidor and a few other items may go.
