Last Friday, I flew a loose formation flight consisting of my Grob 109 and a Cessna 152. Both airplanes are comparable matched in terms of speed.

That Grob is a nice looking plane - almost sailplane in appearance. Didn't know about that maker.

 

The Grob 109B is a motor glider from the 80s. A couple is performance numbers:
95 HP Engine based on a 914 Porsche power plant.
26 gallons
57 ft wingspan
3 position propeller (feather, climb, cruise)
28 to 1 glide ratio
