New Key Fob Remotes Chrysler Crossfire

However, I am in OKC and am getting some new business ventures started and will not get back home for a few weeks. This is the 5th remote sale email that I have replied to this evening. If you would like I can mail it to you for OKC. Postage to your address plus the $15.00. If you are in the Detroit area it is about $4.00 to mail a remote. Sent out 3 since I have been away in the past 2 weeks. I am not a scammer- cause $15.00 items isn't enough and I done have the time or effort to waste. I thought there was some issue with getting the key cut or the fob not working from the ones you get on ebay/on the net?

 

he said unprogramed if that is the case it should work,, also i don;t think there is a key just the remote.

If order for a key to start your car, you have to get them from the dealership. These are able to be programmed to unlock/lock your doors, that is all.

If you are a bit risky, you can transfer the guts into the new remote from your old remote. This is what I was planning on doing, and linked them here for others to do as well. They're pretty much useless otherwise.

The dealer cannot program key's to start crossfires..........Thought this was a lost subject.....

 

Just need the case! I'll use my chip from inside the key.

 

This is from months ago, and he only had 1-2 left when I bought them, I think it's safe to say he doesn't have any more!!!

 

Buying key fobs from anyone but a dealership, is pointless - UNLESS: you just want a nice new case for your old key fob. Ebay fobs can't be programmed to open your cars doors, and they can't be programmed to start your car. I wasted $60 on some fobs and found out the hard way. See link below for more info.

Key FOBs are vehicle specific and are not interchangable. About all one from another car is good for is the case with your internals installed. Needswings sells the correct replacement keys but they are not cheap. What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

 

 

For 15 bucks what have you to lose...15 bucks. I would not take the chance though. It probably won't open the doors or allow you to start the car. If it can be programmed you still have to pay for the relatively expensive programming from the dealer or Needswings. So why not just get something that you know with certainty does work from the beginning to save the hassle of having to do it twice?


I hope nobody thought a 13 year old German car was going to be cheap to keep running?
