For sale, slightly used Bilstein Struts (3000 miles ) for front of Crossfire Limited model otherwise like new condition.

$50.00 for the pair. + shipping. I switched to adjustable Konis but even cranked all the way to firm I haven't noticed much difference.

I am interested in the Bilstein Shocks for the front of the limited xf. Did you not like them? Were they too stiff or not stiff enough for you?

Actually they were fine, better than stock , but I switched because I wanted a much firmer front end.

I switched to the Konis because I had placed a set on the rear ( should have done the front first) but I have not noticed much of an improvement.

Bilsteins are in excellent, like new condition. Just had them removed last week.

 

I want a somewhat smoother ride than I am getting with the stock shocks. The stock shocks are somewhat harsh and a little bouncy. Do you suppose the Bilsteins will be an improvement or will they be even harsher?

Also, are they in the compressed state? Some of the shocks are very difficult to get the shaft pushed back in to make the installation less difficult.

Am still interested in the shocks. Do you still have them? Are they BE3-A998-HO. I believe that is the number for the XF front end.
