Im confused on how it knows the mix of fuel in the tank with out a fuel sensor of some sort.

I PURCHASED IT ON LINE FOR $ 399.99 MAY 20, 2008. PAYPAL STATEMENT SAYS PAYMENT WILL APPEAR ON CARD STATEMENT AS FEATHERHILL.IT IS THE LATEST VERSION ACCORDING TO THE WWW.CHANGE2E85.COM WEB SITE. ACCORDING TO THE ABOVE HILIGHTED WEB SITE E-85 IS 105 OCTANE AND ETHANOL IS 114 OCTANE. I'M NOT AN EXPERT ON THIS SUBJECT BUT I THINK THESE #'S ARE CORRECT.

 

You are correct...........but there are different mixes of "E-85". A lot of places use a "watered down" version better known as E-70 for most of the year(especially in colder regions.......ethanol hates the cold) which is 70% Ethanol instead of 85% Ethanol. Somewhere online there's a chart that shows all the regions in the country that sells "E-85" and what blend of it they use throughout the year.

Bikecop actually ran this setup...if you can reach him...he checks in from time to time...Erik did very well with his setup and could probably answer any of your questions....
