This is the original Code 3 pulley(no notches). I must have your stock pulley as trade hence why its priced so cheap. I must have your stock pulley first then i can replace the Code 3 and get it on its way to you. You pay shipping here i pay shipping back.

What's the difference between the ones with notches and ones without?

 

from what i understand the notched pulley was first generation. smooth grooves were second generation. no diff. in performance
the notched pulleys were shredding belts in the beginning from the sharp edges. as the pulley wore in it became a non issue but the smooth pulley was built to fix it
this is a great buy!!!! if i didnt already have a c3 and 2 oem pulleys and 2 spare bearings i would be all over this!

Wish i could but i have no pulley to put on the car while its being driven. Its off my buddy's car btw(daily driver). Works great and if i wasnt running lean already i buy it and stack em'.

 

Yea sorry that's not going to work for me I'm willing to pay you for the pully but I'm not willing to give up my perfectly fine pully for a promise from some one on a fourm if u want mine I have to check out yours. Btw what would you think would happen to my car if I diidnt have my pullie same senerio. Thanks but that's the only way I see this working out unless I just buy the pully for a little more.

You do not have to worry about Shelton (240M3SRT) he is a soilid guy and has done more for these cars and this forum than most.

Anyway, I can help...I have a solution as well. You too work out a deal like you pay him $350 for his pulley...he ships it to you. (Shelton, I have a stock pulley you can use while you wait on his). You make sure the pulley is good and he refunds you the $100 when you ship yours back to him (Like a core charge). Shelton can give me back my stock pulley once yours arrives. This way no ones car is down.

I already sent 240 a PM about this, I am willing to work with the downtime on my car as I'll be sending the ECU out for a tune anyways, so... yeah.

You might want to consider that Shelton has been a member for 2.5 years and has over 1600 posts in this forum. Do you really think he would put his long standing reputation in jeopardy over a measly $250? If he popped into this community yesterday, and made this offer it would be another thing entirely. Where do you come off thinking it's ok to post in this fashion? It's one thing to question the validity of an online transaction with someone you've never dealt with before but it's altogether different when you post in such a derogatory manner.
