Default MB intake/Cover mod'd by TVT

Fits NA Crossfires, Has two K&N filters inside. intake box has been mod'd by TVT. One small tarnish in the silver paint from my hood rubbing the intake, It rubbed my hood cause i have Phenolic spacers. It would not rub normally or if you took off your hood insulation. Asking $200 or best offer

Dibs, PM sent!

One question though: I can count eight chevrons on top of the cover, as if it's a V-8 airbox.

Others, such as the one below, only have six.

Is there a difference in fitment?

The V8 is dimensionally the same except for that front cover piece which needs to be trimmed on the bottom and side slightly.

I bet you would LOL . It is a slippery slope once you get the car and start modding, I was pretty much where I am today within 2 months of buying the car haha (except a few new things I will show off at the Dragon)

Agreed man! I'm not going to go nuts on the engine, as it will never be an SRT-killer. But, I also can't be okay with it having asthma, either

Next big mods for me will be suspension and wheels... most likely in that order.

John, in light of the recent events... Are you still going to purchase this?

I made him a very very reasonable "best offer"; one that I think would give him respectable return, and sweeten the pot for me a bit. As far as I'm concerned, it's sold if he agrees. Money in hand, I'm just waiting on his reply PM.

Steve, I like the way you think buddy.

Bad news on the piece bud. I couldn't get the nose assembly to align with the oil cap. So no got on it fitting a V6. The main air box and tubing does fit though, I had that on my car. So what i'll do is still sell the main housing and everything for $150 shipped. The nose piece you need is $68 from MB...

It's a deal. Let me know how you would like payment.

Thanks for messing around with it and test-fitting, you're a champ.

That's the V-8 shroud, that won't fit.

The part number that fits the airbox in question AND fits our oil cap (V-6 engines) is 112-010-04-67

Parts.com shows a price of $87.40

I've read that the MB dealer has it for $60.

Can't wait to get the cover in, Skyshadow. I'm hoping it will be here before the weekend so I can have it installed for the Cars N Coffee meet this Saturday. Also looking forward to the added ponies... TVT claimed 8 RWHP when they were marketing this combo.

Thanks again for the very fair price.
