Then, there's paint...
But, I am definitely interested

I was talking to Steve on the phone about your new wing the other day.
I can't wait to see it John. You gonna get him to help you put it on?

I hear ya..... A more gracious and helpful person would be hard to find. I remember coming home from a track day where I had thrown a code. I called him from the car, and by the time I got home, I knew what the problem was, and what to do to fix it.

John, One minor thing I forgot to mention which can be very important later. When you remove your active wing assembly, it may require just a bit of pry to pop it loose from the hatch after you remove all the nuts fromt he underside. Strong fingers or a plastic tool will do the trick. The reason is there is a gasket of sort to keep water from getting into the hatch. It is just a rubberized self adhesive weather stripping, pressed down when the panel is bolted in place. Any hardware store should carry it. If not available, a bead a silicone should work just as good. But don't over do it, as it may be trouble to get apart one day.
Good luck with your project. James

Steve, you're a riot. Hard to fit a 45" chest under a car like the X-fire... Especially on a creeper
Bob -- I only dress GQ when I'm washing it... I was rocking my old BDU's for the oil change. A rare sight indeed
James, thanks for the info. Can't wait!!! It should arrive Friday. Next week will be paint and install, hopefully

Got back from the paint shop; the wing has been dropped off and is getting shot with Alabaster, should be ready by Friday.
Total cost?
$152 out-the-door...
I'm stoked.
