That is correct and if the highest offer is less than what I will take, I will give that person who bothered to PM their offer, the first chance at buying it outright. I've PM'd everyone this morning with the highest offers to date, so if your interested in something better PM me asap.

Wow...this is very odd. This isn't eBay ya know. I can't believe more forum members aren't kinda ticked off about this. Most forums don't allow these kind of FS threads, but looks like this forum is OK with them (just checked the rules).

-Why would somebody offer $700 for the PS2s when you can buy them from TireRack for $339.00 each...? Or likewise on the supercharger bearings, you can get those from NW fro $54.95 each.

-Also, on the InMotion tune...are you selling the entire ECU/CPU?

All I know is that this is the wierdest FS thread I have ever seen. Basically, if you PM him...he will hold the part for you at the price listed next the part and then PM you back if it's not what he wanted to get out of the item. I PMed him about some parts and made an offer MORE than what was listed and he said they were spoken for. Uh...then take them off the thread?!

Seriously, I think this forum should consider putting some rules in just simply selling parts for a price...people can make offers if they want on the price...but that's it...

This thread =

I am starting to agree with you. Is he selling the parts or fishing?

IMO- If your going to sell items using an auction format you should have to put an ending date and time. I lost interest in these items for sale a long time ago.

Fishing as far as I can tell...

From what he wrote in response to my question about it being an auction-style sale...he is basically saying if someone offers him something lower than he is willing to take he will PM them back what he wants to get out of the item.........uh....there is a much easier way to do this....

POST the lowest price you are willing to take on the parts (could be very high $$$)...at the very least people will say you over priced the parts...then...you can say well they are OBO...so make some offers...

Not exactly why a few of you are getting worked up about how he is selling these parts. He posted the parts and what he paid for them new, said to PM him with best offer and I'm pretty sure that some things have actually appreciated in value because they aren't made anymore (why can't that be the case with our car). Only thing I'd have done different is have people post their offers here in the thread for all to see that way I could razz someone if they were going after the same parts I was. LOL They're his parts so he can pretty much sell them for whatever people will pay for them.

Crusin,
I am retracting my bid. I wanted the parts, but now I changed my mind, do to no communications. I have decided to buy else where.

Thanks Rudy. As I just Pm'd chief just now. I don't care if he can't wait. I will let Rob know he is ready to pay full price for the dual CAI. The parts that are installed on the car, pulley, dual cai, mani's, ypipe are still on car and will be on car until I take them off. If you can't wait then too bad and I will sell the next highest person. The rest of the items not on the car are pretty much spoken for from the high bidders and I will contact them this weekend for payment and shipping info.

Satellite is making a big deal, but offered pennies in comparison to the offers I have on what he wanted. At least chief make a decent offer. How does the saying "Champagne taste on a beer budget". LOL

So cry on here if you want. The real buyers continue to PM me and I will give you a timeline when items will ship.

I have no idea what anyone else offered. Kinda difficult with this blind auction you set up. $20? - $30? - $40?...it's flippin' waste of time. You do realize buyers are looking for the same thing you are, right? The best price.

I get that "some" of the parts are worth more than others because they are not made anymore, but at least keep the thread updated. What the hell did the prices even mean...?

Because it DID say $10...so I think i offered up $15 or something like that. Doesn't that seem like the next logical step in an auction-like format?

Yeah, that's how the thread started and I get that, but then random prices were everywhere. I just didn't like his response. Basically, telling me they were already spoken for...but yet...he is trying to get the highest bid. Which is it? Absolutely I am a serious buyer with PLENTY of cash to, but you gotta give a starting point. I would offer up $250 for the PS2 tires...but he would probably just say no without a counter-offer...which is a waste of my time.

...and...yes...just wait 'til I sell my Code 3 Pulley, does that mean I can charge $2000 for it? I'd feel like an *******, but, ya know...to each his own.

I hope somebody didn't pay as much over $15 for that engine plate as you are making it seem....

Take a closer look and you would see the differences. This new improved is a cheaper version for those not willing to spend the money we did. These were not sublimated, if you know what that means.

You should have researched the badges and emblems before making your offer. Also you should have made an offer at least a week earlier and you would have been included in the bidding process. Instead you chose to post here whining about the auction. If you had plenty of cash then you should have offered what you were willing to pay, not how cheap you thought you could get it. Spend your money elsewhere, it's not green enough for me. Really $15 for all the badges and emblems and you wanted me to take you seriously?

The rest who have treated this auction with respect have all got PM's with updates. The items not sold will be put up for sale in the next few weeks here or ebay.

Are you kidding me with the "sublimated"...?

$15 dollars was for each emblem and now that you have dropped the "your money isn't green enough for me" line you have made yourself crystal clear to me...I get it...and uh...good luck with that.

Glad to hear the rest is going on eBay if it doesn't sell here. You will find they have things like "reserve price" and "minimum bid" which will accomplish what you are looking for.

I'm not taking this any farther...buuut...I'm guessing you will want to have the last word.

Actually had a sidebet in PM how long it would take you to get it. Dang it I lost some of my parts money already.
