OK....so I'm new to the crossfire world so please bare with me, but what is it about a short piece of pipe and a muffler that makes this worth $404?

Someone enlighten me, remember, easy on the newb.

Is it all about the sound? or stainless? or 50 extra HP?

Not being condescending, just curious.

Owning this car, be prepared for sticker shock on a lot of items. Eventually you will get over it, I did.

No, this is about you (no not U personnally). When you buy one of these cars you can keep it stock and have an assembly line car, which there is nothing wrong with that (everyone is different). But, most of us like to make these cars ours, meaning different. If you decide to modify in the future for looks, sound, speed or what ever, its going to cost you. Do you know how much an oil change is if you do it your self of if a dealer does it? With the Cat Back exhuast its more of the way it sounds to you, yes it made of stainless and looks good.

I just got my SRT 6 in June and this is one of the things I am doing to my car first. This doesn,t mean that you have to do it also. I have addition things I plan on doing over the winter. I got a good deal on the exhaust and as far as I know the deal will last for two weeks, and I got it about three days ago so this gives other members that might be interested in a cat back exhaust time to get one also. You don't have to get one, but if you where possibly looking in this area for a mod. this is a good price including shipping. They normally go around $600.00+ if you can't find a deal.

On this forum it's about sharing whether its deals on new or used parts, information, problems, cars spotted for sale and yes sometime it can get a little harsh, but we try to look out for each other. So when you read any thing on here take it with a grain of salt there is allot of good stuff on here. There is even a Crossfire SRT 6 raffle if you would like to help us support St. Louis Childrens Hospital, the tickets are 100.00 each with only 250 tickets being sold.

Great price for this. The cheapest I've seen these for is $500 shipped on Ebay.

If I wasn't so doggone happy with the exhaust note of the Ansa, I would consider this... because I do prefer the look of the larger tips.

But I've heard the drone with this muffler is a bugger.

It can be, but for the most part it is only when driving at lower speeds at about 23-2500 rpm; continuous highway driving is no problem.
