These are OEM 7 spoke rims that have had been chrome plated?

 

Actually these wheels came on the car when I purchased it used. My understanding is that they are factory chromed 7 spoke wheels that came with the car when it was new.

 

No such thing as a factory chrome wheel for the Crossfire. There are a few members that have sent their OEM wheels off to have chrome plated.

 

Curious, the wheels are available new and refurbished in Chrome.I saw them on a "Chrysler" site and on a number of other sites. I assumed they were factory. The price range is from around 350 to 550 a piece.

I bet if you read closely the sites will say something to the effect of.... Factory OEM alloy rims chrome finished or something to that effect. You can find SRT rims on the internet as well that say factory OEM that are chrome finished even though it was never a factory option. FP purchased SRT rims for his Crossfire and had them chrome plated as an example. The fact still remains that there were never any chrome wheels that were available as an option on a new Crossfire.
