I could be wrong, but will 17's even clear our brake calipers?

Yeah, they will if you have stock calipers.

any pics of the wheels on the car? will the SRT brakes definitely clear inside a 17" wheel?

yes, i am running 17" fronts and 16" rears lol for my snow tire/wheel combo and it clears fine.
