Default FS: Crossfire Luggage

I am selling unopened and unused touring gear that came when you ordered a SRT6. I don't know what it looks like as I haven't opened the box. Its as it arrived from Chrysler 6 years ago. . It weighs 17lbs, so you can calculate shipping to your address. Please PM me and I will respond asap. Ok... I am revising the price. People are telling me this is worth 350-400 dollars. I am going to part with it shipped for $250.00 (shipped). I will pick up the shipping costs. I want this to go to someone who enjoys it. BlueCoupe responded with a offer close, so he gets right of first refusal. If he doesnt respond today, I will accept the next PM. Sorry for confusion. Also, I believe its some sort of roller case... I am not sure though as I haven't opened the box and will ship it as I received it.

Sorry all, I didn't know what this was worth. Thanks for the guys who responded and advised me. I am selling for $250 to the first person who responds... I will pick up shipping. I apologize for confusion. Accept Paypal and I will stay by my computer until it sells as I am not getting PM's (evidenced by the grilles I through in the recycle bin because I didn't know anyone responded!)

Meh, screw that. Raising the price on the fly isn't cool, take 5 minutes to do a search on the forum before you waste everyones time.

I saw it also for $100 usd...minutes after he posted, but then I thought maybe he meant $200 or something. It is BM to pull the asking price at first, but at the end it is his product after all. Supply and demand I guess. Gl with the sell.

He musta been in a hurry to sell it. I pm'd him an offer and unfortunately couldn't stay on-line, had to get back to work. In the meantime he pm'd me back ..........that he would sell it to me, then he musta got a better offer 'cause he pm'd me again and told me he couldn't wait for me and sold it to someone else. I've bought lot's of stuff from forum members and sponsor's, luckily I've never had it go this way before.

As you can see in the thread I Pm'd him indicating my interest but asked a couple questions for clarification. Took almost two hours for a reply that came during my commute home....then sold to someone else. I don't feel warm and fuzzy either.

All,

Wow, your conspiracy theories are great, but Mickey replied immediately and offered the 250 shipped. I ended up selling it to him. I was talking to him on the phone, hence couldn't use the computer to reply. As you can see from the other threads I've posted, I've sold other items below cost to forum members as I used to be active here when I had my cars. Next time, I will just use eBay, much easier....and no I don't have headlights to sell.

Go ahead and use ebay. Piece of advice though: usually sellers double check what the item is worth and THEN list, why would the forum be any different? I didn't even need the luggage, just peeves me that you cant take a moment and do research first (or was bait and switch part of your selling tactics?).

Lazy *******.

What is the bait and switch? I never accepted your offer. In fact, your offer was different than the original terms and you weren't the first to respond. Additionally, it was more than 5 people who PM'ed me to repost because the amount was too low. Once I did, I immediately talked to person who first responded to the original post and was happy to purchase it. So, how did that affect you? Amazing. Especially since you now say you don't need the luggage. You should understand contract law before you open up with some pathetic war over something you claim to not need, when the purpose of my offering it was to sell it to someone who did.

What is more interesting is that you would find it completely acceptable to purchase it and get over on someone rather than let them know it was an extremely low offering price. Seems like you are pissed because you couldn't take advantage of someone, as I am sure you would have immediately relisted it to sell.

By the way, you should use the term Bait and Switch correctly. A Bait and Switch is offering one item at a low price and then selling a different item at a higher price. Not changing the price of an item. Additionally, if the person who purchased the luggage decides that this was a sham or they were taken, I would be happy to cancel their offer. Please PM me and let me know. I don't need to sell as we discussed and will gladly put it back in the basement or donate it.

BTW, MJGroves, you can have the last post, as I won't respond again. I am sure that will give you some sort of satisfaction and make up for your inability to resell the luggage at a profit.

My offer was different than the original terms? That's funny, because I told you I would pay what you were asking and then even offered to arrange a pickup in person so you wouldn't have to screw around at the post office and paypal fees. Your location has since been mysteriously removed from your profile.

Oh, and just to clarify, of course I didn't NEED the luggage, it was a nice to have at the price point that you listed it at. Am I supposed to feel bad because I was going to pay what you were originally asking for and NOT inform you about your stupidity in setting the price?

"This can of soup on clearance is obviously listed for less than it's worth, let me shell out 2.5x that amount just for the hell of it." Idiot.

And no, I wasn't going to pawn it off on ebay, but nice ASSumption *******.

Regardless, I called you a lazy *******, and obviously you took offense. But sorry, truth hurts sometimes. All that garbage you spewed in your first paragraph was assuming I was pissed about not getting the luggage. I already mentioned that I wasn't and explained my reasoning, so I can't lay it out for you any simpler than that, chief. LAZINESS, not jealousy was (and remains) the original basis for my original response and as you can see, I am not the only one who found your antics slightly unsavory. Moral of the story champ: when you waste my time (and subsequently **** me off because of it), you're going to have some negative publicity coming your way... which you are now fully aware of.

"BTW, MJGroves, you can have the last post, as I won't respond again."

My my, how so very MATURE of you sir, bravo bravo. Where are the "rolling eyes" emotes when you need them. All games aside, you're going to read this message (curiousity is too great), and learn not to pull this kind of stunt again. So we all win.
