Obviously the creator of this hood has some ability.
So why would he use the (what apears to be stock Dodge Ram) scoops?
When customizing, the point is go "Custom".
Nothing worse than parking in a parking lot only to notice the old pick-up parked next to you,
has the same hood scoops.
My Two Cents...

Jag actually......The reason was because they looked pretty good, protects the engine from water and ice, while offering ventilation. Not many designs offered that ability.

30Lbs lighter and did not even have to diet over the winter!!!
My hood came in today and it blew my mind seeing it in person. The vents look sick, the carbon fiber weave is wicked, and the finished product is a beast! Hurry up spring I've got a hood to install!
