I'm lost here. I'm not sure what soft ball junkie has to do with this buy. I got the last hood in the 1st buy and my deal with mad med went just like it was suppose to go. I paid and he shipped it. Arrived as advertized.

Edit: I see now. Soft ball junkie is listed as a buyer. Sorry I'm kinda slow.

You should take $50 of SBJunkie's deposit and send it to me. Still haven't heard back from him.

Softballjunkie has not visited the forum since October the 18th, I'd say he's missing in action unless he's signed on with a new name, which would say a lot. New name and a clean rep.
I'd not count on him as a reliable buyer, I'd be looking for number eleven.

Man It's to bad. I paid $1300 I think for my hood. It used to be every time I saw a Sebring I'd get a little pissed. Now I don't even notice them. The hood was worth every penny.

Just a question,Everytime I look down that hood begs for a cowl induction. Has anybody done it yet?

Guys I have to say this. When I tell someone I will purchase from them, I follow thru. Even been in on a bad deal on here and lost some money, but I followed thru on what I promised. This guy puts out a quality product, and I have seen them in person, and he takes all the risk, puts up the money in the beginning. It isn't right to stick him because you changed your mind...
shouldn't have told him to move forward if you didn't intend to purchase...Sorry this happened to you man, and I wouldn't do any of the hoods again....Certainly will make the one's you did do even more rare...Thanks for doing the project to begin with...I know someone else did the original design, but you produced this nice lightweight version which really does look good when no others would. I hope you get them all sold.

Med,

Sorry to hear that this happened. If you have the hoods, throw them up on Ebay. I'm sure someone will ****** them up.

Med I too am sorry that this happened to you. When I got mine I felt lucky as I got the last one. It was a perfect fit. It took me and my son in law all of 10 minutes to pull the old hood and install the new one. After as payment the son in law says hows bout take'n me for a ride. Figured I mite as well test the hood while we out. Got her up to 145 with no problems. I've decided that I'm go'n to do a cowl induction with mine. I can't believe everybody didn't jump on this. Looks good, is fuctionial, 40 pound weight loss. Geez.

FYI

I've been driving the prototype for 1 1/2 years now.

#1 You might want to paint the front hood latch with some
rust resistant paint and keep it oiled.

#2 Check your bolts every 6 months or use lock tight.

#3 enjoy the nice look!
