WTB: OEM Car Cover
I've had my Crossfire since 2005 - over 6 years. In all this time, I've been looking for the OEM car cover that does not cost an arm and a leg. Otherwise, I'd walk in a circle all the time.I've checked Ebay a million times over the years. Even today, they have them on Ebay for $291! To me, that's crazy.
Anyway, if anyone knows of one for sale or you have one, I can pay $100-$125. I really want one that truly fits with mirror pockets, etc. No generic please. I am not hopeful, but it can't hurt to post it, right?
Thanks!
Well, I can understand that you don't want to spend $300 for an OEM cover, but then you need to lower your expectations, and get a cover that will cost you ~$100 (it's just the price of rice), or just stay patient until one pops up in your price range. You've already waited 5+ years. What's a few more. Stay put until one may come up. Maybe you wont find it for $100, but maybe you'll find one for $200.

Until then I'll remove the spoiler and it will fit just fine.

your overthinking this!! it doesnt matter iof its a truck car buggatti or volkswagon its the quality of the cover you have to look at. look at the fit of my cali cover. when you order the cover it is made to fit a specific car not generic. thats right down to a vert or coupe srt 6 or limited.
Agree with 32K. But just to throw something else to think about : I bought the Covercraft NOAH and it is a heavy grade material good for indoor and outdoor use and fits just like FP's.
Was less than $200

The one in the pic is the Noah from Covercraft. It has a perfect fit. I ended selling it to buy the OEM cover I have now. I only bought the OEM because I came across an opportunity to buy it from someone who never used it for a great deal. But like 32Krazy said the CCC covers are made custom for each model, and have the same fit.

something to remember when buying a cover. mine is a indoor only cover. not waterproof and very soft. outdoor covers will be made of a tougher material that resists water and sunlight. so in a strong wind the cover can catch the wind and rub on the paint over time. theres no way to avoid it. if your using it indoors dust can still collect over time. mine was only 50$ so i couldnt go wrong.
