That is my philosophy too, it means that I do not buy much these days.

Originally the cheap stuff was made in China and this affected the lower paid workers who worked at places that made the cheap widgets. They went to Walmart and purchased these cheap items that helped them lose their jobs. Then the more expensive stuff was made in China and the cycle was repeated. Soon all items will be made in China and then they will double the prices and we will be screwed. That is a simplistic way to look at it, but not too far out.

 

The rolling bag will fit in trunk of roadster if top is up, and trunk/top separator is folded down.
I know the luggage may be made in China but it is very nice.

nice. just seen this post this morning and took advantage of the free shipping. hopefully I get my srt bags b4 I go to vegas in a couple weeks.

 

Received my SRT6 set today. Was very pleased to see it has more differences from the standard luggage than just the badge. Now I have two sets for the limited roadster and one set for the SRT6 roadster (thankfully never spent more than $150 on a set)

 

So sad, and so true. Our debt to china is astronomical. I fear my great grand kid's great grand kids will still be paying it off, and they won't have a job to do it with.

 

Anyone knows how to get a new crossfire luggage. I tried those two links provided here but it looks like there are none left. i had one gave to my in-laws. These are very good luggage and costs close $500.

Thanks Valk. I tried that link it comes as back ordered. I even called them and the rep. told me that they don't have any and will not be available in the future. I guess I lucked out

 

guess you are out of luck... I am giving an SRT set away to my son for Christmas...have two more on the shelf, but not interested in selling any right now. I am sure someone over time will put theirs up for sale. I had heard they found some more, but I guess that info was wrong. Hang in there, a set will show up on here...

 

Thanks guys...this is really a good group. I should have checked properly before i committed to my in-laws. These are really collector's item. What a mistake...shouldn't have listen to my other half.

 

Valk was correct...they do have SRT-6 luggages but not the Limited one.

 

There was one set of SRT left on Saturday and it was still there at noon today - I spent an hour on the phone trying to buy them this morning but they wouldn't take my Canadian Visa card even if I shipped them to a US address.... didn't need them but would have been a nice gift for Christmas. I have a NA set that I have had for over 4 years and they are heavily used but holding up well. They are good quality. Enjoy them whoever got them!
