Selling Mercedes v8 air box w/v6 nose piece and e320 intake pipes
Selling Mercedes v8 air box w/v6 nose piece and e320 intake pipes, I want to sell all at once for $180, price is negocaitble, I'm in Southern California, I rather sell to someone local, because shipping is a nightmare
It looks OK but so does the wrong part that rubs on the hood lining.
Buyers have to be aware of this issue.
I took two to the dump as they were the wrong part number and rubbed.
What is the part number of the items?

I don't know the part numbers off hand, but there is no rub issue over the year I had it on the car
That's also why I want someone in Southern California to buy, so they can thoroughly inspect airbox and all components to make sure everything is perfect and to their exact specifications
I meet another crossfire owner that had a similar setup to mine, (minus the intake tubes and front cover and the fact his box was from a s500) he said the rub on his box from an s500 was so insignificant, he had no idea why people on the forum made it such a big deal. If I would have known, that fact I wouldn't have spent a year and some change looking for a c320 airbox lol

Part numbers of the parts that fit are;
Mercedes engine cover #A 112 090 11 01
The front part (nose) #A 112 010 04 67
I found this today, if you guys are interested let me know its an authentic AMG cover and it fits, the v8 nose piece comes with it but its pretty much unusable but you can dremmel it I guess and make it work, or just use the v6 nose piece and paint it
Click
Other Mercedes air boxes fit but rub on the hood liner, rub off the paint as well as marking the hood liner. They hit hard when the engine twists on acceleration. This air box is a bit thinner.
