So somewhere on here is a thread about a guy in Latvia selling the little domed emblems for the key fobs - I ordered a couple sets and then asked him if he could make the Karmann emblems like the ones that Karmann used to send to you for free before they went bankrupt. Anyways he asked for a picture which I had my wonderful wife take and I sent them to him with dimensions last night - today he emailed me and said to check them out - so here it is!! Set of 4 with 2 different sizes - 2 original size + 2 smaller ones.

He is new to ebay and has NO feedback - I have Not received my original order yet but it has only been a few days. You can wait until I get them and I will update this post. Also probably not exact, as the originals were chrome letters and logo and these look to be silver. Anyway check out his stuff and stay tuned. Always nice to have something different come up. And at 6.50 a set they are a wee bit cheaper than the $30.00 each for the originals if you can find them. Ron

Ron - Just ordered a set. I figured that it would be appropriate for a car designed by Chrysler on a Mercedes chassis and built by Karmann to have some stickers from Latvia. Shipping to US is $3.50 with a 10 day to 2 week time frame.

I just messaged him and the Karmann badges will be available again but currently sold out. He is a new vendor and has limits to how much he can sell. (ebay backs up all sales) As Syfi pointed out above he does have a good selection of keyfob stickers for coupe /roadster and SRT still available.

Got them in the mail today! They look just like the picture and the quality seems very good. I am also very happy with the price. He messaged me that he is going to make another one with blue at the top Karmann in red and a black pattern behind the wheel. I will post a picture when I see them on ebay.

 

I bought both the mixed black crossfire set, and the Karmann set. It would be nice if he would make a "Special Edition" version.

 

Toolman - I think the mixed Crossfire set comes with some small limited edition badges but I am sure he can do "special edition" in the future. He is open to making whatever we want but at the present time is limited because he is new on ebay and they restrict him. He has to take a listing off in order to add a new one. BUT he did make another Karmann badge I mentioned above Karmann Domed Badge Vinyl Sticker Set | eBay and they look great.

 

Just got mine. They are beautiful. I can't compare to the org. but real nice.

 

I got a set and, as indicated by others, maybe not as good as originals BUT look Great and the quality is pretty good. He also has a number of different types on E-Bay now. You can't complain about the price, its next to nothing.

I found a set of silver Crossfire emblems a long time ago. In my opinion they look the most "classy" and as if they were made for the Crossfire as they match the windshield surround as well as our console.
The only one I found now comes from Germany and is highly expensive. I paid something like $2 for them back in the day.
I always liked the originals (Red/Blue) but didn't like the way they looked on my Graphite body. The silver ones seem like they were made for our little Crossfires. I'm sure they guy above could make some like these. Here is the link:

I will say he has a great variety and the chrome with the carbon fibre look as nice as any I have seen and for the price they are a winner!! I just sent him a picture of the original ones and he had a set made the next day - if any one wants the silver ones I am sure if you just message him with the link he can do them for a lot better price.

 

I also received my order of the chromed Karmann badge they are pretty sharp looking. This is the badge on the front grill of an older Renault that I've always liked. Similar to what Nickwe21 posted.

 

Silver/Chrome was the only solution for my graphite car I actually liked!

 

I,m not to sure how this turned out but I tried to fabricate a backing made out of black acrylic so I could see how the Karmann badge might look on one of the lower grills. I countersunk the two screws and made a template out of hardboard and used a router.
