Want to buy OEM fuel filter for '06 NA
Want to buy OEM fuel filter for '06 NA
Hi all, as this years driving season is fast approaching ,i will be replacing the original Fule filter assy on my 06 limited . It has only 12,000 miles but as part of preventive maintenance it is time. I thought I would buy it from Needwings but I can not get their website to load properly so I don't even know if they can supply
And what the factory part number is. I know I could go to the Stealership but all things being equali would rather give my money to Needwings
Thank you

The filter I got from Needswing is : Mahle KL 82. You shouldn't need a fuel filer at that mileage. The stock fuel filter is very large and can go a long time without changing it ( unless you think you you have gotten some real junk in your fuel). But if your **** about maintenance (like me ) go for it.

Thank you for your reply Whoosh, I should take the time to say thank you to all the kind folks who have answered my questions over the years. I have a very Demanding job ( like I'm sure lots of outhers do to ) I have not had a day off for over 23 days so when I get some down time I don't feel like doing much, so thank you Crossfire form. Ps did some work on my limited last year and have some very good pic that I will try to share later.
Cheers

I bought a MANN fuel filter from Advance Auto for my buddy's car and it was the exact same as the stock unit. Same price as NW and no shipping.
Re: Want to buy OEM fuel filter for '06 NA
Hi everyone, I should tell you that one of the reasons I want to change the fuel filter is that at a idle there is a tiny bit of roughness .Now it might be due to the 10-1 comp ratio but since I have changed to Bosch irriduem plugs the next easiest maintenance item is the filter. Since I have never heard anouther Crossfire run I have no comparison .

I went with the K&N air filters.
Gas mileage went up 1-2 mpg.
I am a nut on watching that.
And it felt better, more get and go....or felt that way
