I was wondering how are these emblems installed? I don't see how to get "inside" of the hood ornament to remove the old faded emblem and slide the new one in there?
Just curious as to how hard it is before I go for replacements.
Also, do you have an original Chrysler one, the one that was on the car and is now a bit faded on mine?

these are an overlay decal and allow one to retain the original chrysler dome shape. they can be removed at anytime... come trade in, time of sale, etc. and the chrysler emblem beneath will retain its prior condition.
the emblems are decals and designed by a process called "thermal imaging" ... transferred onto an outdoor adhesive and pliable vinyl (exterior signage material)... oracal & avery materials are being used.

Very cool! I will get original decals for front and back down the road how much would that run me and do you have a picture of what the original Chrysler badges look like (just want to figure out how badly mine are faded compared to the ones you make).
Thanks and have a nice day. Nick
