In my typical fashion, due to the fact that I cannot leave anything stock…I have for sale a gently used Kenwood KMR-D765BT CD player.
When I bought this new SRT6, I simply wanted to add Bluetooth functionality to my stock stereo. These Kenwoods look great in our dash and match the paint / display about as perfect as you can expect. Well no sooner than I get this installed, the desire to upgrade the rest of the audio system started. In both my old Crossfires, I had an extensive audio system and these cars are just too easy to upgrade. Needless to say that I have jumped off the deep end again and have installed a complete audiophile system in my new SRT6. As good as this Kenwood is, it is missing a few key items that I would like for my “new” system so here we are.
This model Kenwood is the top of the line of the Marine units that match our interiors so nicely. It has Bluetooth, Ipod, Pandora, front and rear USB and even 4V lineouts. It also actually has some pretty nice crossover and EQ functionally that you would not expect in a $200 unit.
The unit is in perfect working order with just a tiny cosmetic flaw visible on the trim ring just above the SRC button on the top left of the unit. It came this way out of the box, so I wanted to point it out. I will ship the unit already prewired to a Crossfire wiring harness so you can just plug and play with no cutting of wires! I also will include the antenna adaptor for a stock nav or non-nav unit.
It's a nice radio and what I installed in my Crossfire. $145 on Amazon. Would be nice if it had a wireless remote. I also installed Infinity PR6500CS midrange speakers with bass blockers. The speakers required no modification to the speaker mount. I didn't install the tweeters (since original sounded fine) or the crossover.
