What is a plastic body insert?
Do you mean the housing for the tag light lamp?
If so you can buy LED lamps that are a direct fit that were made for Mercedes on eBay, they are cheaper that the OEM ones and brighter.
These lights fit directly in the trunk light position with no mods at all and they are much brighter.

The whole assembly slides into the hole in the trunk lid and clips in. It is slid lengthwise to release it from the clip.
These lights can replace the trunk light with no mods at all, they just pop in and are much brighter.

05srtsix - Are you still disposing of parts? I need a very small item. The red plastic battery post cover that covers the positive battery post on the battery hold down. I misplaced mine and need another. It has two plastic pins that hold it in place. Small item, maybe 2" square, if that. Please let me know if you have one left and if you are willing to part with it.

Hi guys,
I am parting out a black 05 SRT6. I am located near Canton, OH. Car was totaled, head on collision. Motors runs great and will video of motor running with compression numbers this weekend.
Parts that were bad/damaged:
Both Headlights
Both Fog Lights
Front Bumper
Heat Exchanger
Radiator
Core Support
All other parts are in good condition, with minor wear and tear. Some interior pieces will be used for my SSB SRT6. Everything else is for sale. I prefer PM or a text at 3304128770 (actually prefer a text).
NOTE: I will be going to the Eurocharged Cincinnati Crossfire Tech Day next weekend and could bring any large parts with me.
