Stopped using the Sprint Booster several years ago. It's just sitting in my garage drawer, gathering dust. I bet some one will enjoy it: I did. My original cost was $225 when new. Works just fine. You can have it for $75. PM me if interested.

LOL. Really want to know? My wife hated the spontaneous pick-up it provided., especially coming off a light. And yes, she otherwise enjoys driving my SRT6.

 

Hi possibly interested. What exactly does this do?

 

A Sprint Booster reprograms the signal received from the accelerator pedal giving quicker throttle response. Easy to attach. Lots of info on how to do it on the site. Do a search!

 

What version is it?

 

I don't have the paperwork anymore but i know I bought it in 2007. Hope that helps.

 

I had this version once, I too removed it.
It has no external on/off or mode panel, once installed it is active full time.

 

Wow, an on/off mode. That would have been useful feature.

 

Do these sprint boosters give you any advantage if you already have a tune,(Eurocharged) ?

 

Good question. Mine is not tuned so I do not know.

My understanding is that it tells the TB to open faster via a signal since it is fly by wire.A tune wont improved the throttle response.

That model was sold specifically for the Crossfire SRT6, based upon the driveline. It DOES NOT work on any Limited or Base models. I have one (451A2) and it has been installed since 2006 and continues to work perfectly as intended. Back in 2006, the sprint Booster had 3 models, the SRT6, Limited automatics and the Limited and Base manual shift transmission cars.

Dennis - Thanks for the information on this item. That's good to know and I'm sure it will save a lot of headache's down the road. I haven't looked up a new one, but I see them advertised monthly in "Grassroots Motorsports" magazine. I'm guess they make one for the limited and base models we have.

My response was directed to the early Sprint Boosters, manufactured around 2005, they made multiple versions since they did not have an adjustable version at that time.
The member had an older version, based upon the shipping Box.
