SKREEM and Antenna Ring just listed less than 2 weeks ago at Needswings $229.25. According to Rob its Plug & Play. Programing already done for your car, just send Rob all the info at time of order and when you receive it just plug it in and off you go. No more needing to go find a dealership that will charge you to do the programing

Shouldn't your blurb on the SKREEM mention that after three tries disconnecting the battery will start the whole cycle again.

Needswings/Rob is a great forum vendor that I've bought a number of items from. Being able to provide replacement SKREEMS already programmed is fantastic! We have seen a few member nightmares with dealers, or repair shops, not knowing how to correctly use a DRBIII, with a multiplexer cable, to program a blank SKREEM copying the secret code from the BCM.

The index for repairs does NOT show how to replace the skreem does your unit you ship out have a how to install with it?

 

The instructions to do it are in the Service Manual.

Please post results when installed. I have 2 crossfires and had to replace the skreem module 3 times on one. Lasted about 1 year only.

That is the usual symptoms, of the SKREEM unit failure. 3 attempts, then it will not turn over ,until you disconnect the battery and try again. It will sputter, but not start.

 

2004 alabaster base, 6-spd manual, 65k miles.

Prior to current no crank condition, alarm was false triggering. Removed alarm from firewall, sawed open, ni-mh batteries shot, rebuilding now. Xfr running perfect for past 30+ days without alarm installed.

Anybody have any other input for me?

 

Maybe the pulse module ?

 

I was under the impression only auto 5-spd trans had the pulse module.

 

I was too, but have been advised otherwise in the past.
I honestly don't know for sure if the 6 speed has one or not.

 

It does not have a PM.
Mine (2004) did not for sure.

 

I don't know what a "Skreem" is, and reading this thread doesn't help. It sounds like something I need to stay away from. I hope my car doesn't have it.
