Default Feeler for part-out

Sometime this week (hopefully sooner than later) I will have bought the coupe back, and will begin a part-out.

Interior will be up for grabs, minus the dash pad and driver's airbag. I would really like to sell as one unit, local pickup preferred.

Since I'll be moving to a convertible, the SRT wing won't be of much good to me, so that's available as well. Looking to get $600 + shipping for the wing and base plate. If you're in an Alabaster coupe, this is a no-brainer as the paint is flawless and the wing alone from Chrysler is over $1,000... base plate is another $600. I got both pieces painted for ~$200 IIRC...

If there's anything you all can think of (HVAC controls, rear fascia, tail lights, a-pillars), I'll see about making it happen. Not really interested in shipping individual grommets/tiny pieces to fifty different states... we're getting the big stuff off, then crushing it.

Wheels, steering wheel are making the move to the new roadster as they were unharmed.

This is a feeler for interest only, no firm prices set on anything except the spoiler at the moment.

Cheers,

John,
I have had a small chip out of my left taillight since I bought my car.
Let me know how much you would want for the LEFT taillight.

Done deal Gary!

Rear wing, 4 catalytic converters spoken for, as well as other parts listed above.

The passenger headlight being broken is fine, since I only need the wiring and rubber covers. Does the driver side headlight have a broken housing or just a broken tab?

Any chance I could get one of the bottom headlight mounts..............the threaded ring that is inside the plastic mount?

I believe your interior is cedar red. I converted my daughters SRT to CR except the seats and the bolster under the steering wheel and the light switch and ac vent on the drivers side. The SRT seats I will keep OEM, but would like the other parts. Let me know how much.

John I could really use the door speaker grill as my "new" xf came without one on the passenger side.

Please let me know if that's possible.

If the RMC is available I could add it to the loan pool or use the relays.

Thanks.

if i may impart a few thoughts here. as this tear down will be in my garage and MY 32 will be outside until jons car is gone, the major parts are whats really needed to sell. i am looking at 2 days to tear the car apart, keep what he wants store some stuff in my shed and sell the main things then off to the crusher. not a lot of time to look for a small item part that can be had from the dealer. bumper , doors, deck hatch, driveline, interior those need to sell. dont want to speak out of turn but time is of the essence

Yep, I think I grazed that when I said

Anything that is "tedious" will be taken back to my place for separation/shipping as there's no sense in holding up Steve's garage that he's so graciously offered. Although, if we time it right Steve, the SLK shouldn't have to spend any nights outside. Interior can be stripped in chunks, and I can do all "sorting" at home. The biggest piece (textured dash pad) is ruined courtesy of the air bag. Once the interior is gutted, the car can sit outside as the engine/exterior is always exposed to the elements. No need to shelter those. I owe you a case of Labatt's for your hospitality

Anthony/bluecoupe -- I'll have to inventory the headlights when we get the car back. At the moment, I have no clue what pieces survived. I know neither headlamp is usable, but pieces from them might be and will be FOC... not charging for a clip/seal and the shipping is negligible.

Randy -- Between you and Franc, that speaks for the interior so that collectively wipes that out. Mjgroves requested the silver console pieces, which shouldn't be needed for the color conversion as you can reuse the pieces from your SRT... I'll PM you and Franc regarding the cedar trim pricing. As mentioned, the dash pad is FUBAR but the colored pieces are in outstanding condition.

DJ -- I can ship you the RCM, no problem. I'll see if I can separate the speaker trim from the door panel w/o breaking it. Hopefully Randy's trim is OK and he doesn't need the replacement.

I'll likely end up keeping the engine as a spare, if for no other reason than I put $60 worth of Mobil-1 in it just under a week ago

I know you said the engine was in the firewall so it's a shot in the dark, but I'm looking for the clutch master line and the stock rubber fuel line if they are available.

Does this mean squirellcrusher will finally get his tail light? lol
