Track Tires _ 1 Day
I forgot to post these after the last race I did @ Willow Springs. These were new Michelin Pilot Sport Cups competition tires that I put on the front. This was after one day of racing. Now you know why I use Hoosier Tires now... This is a combination of the melted rubber I picked-up on the track and the melting of the tread of my tires.

So when you watch my videos from the track you can hear a bunch of crap hitting the inside wheel wells... This is what it looks like after it hardens...

Who says HDDP don't go as fast as his Crossfire can take him ?

I'm blown away. That must feel terrible after a day of racing. I picked up a bit of road tar once and my car felt like it had square wheels. How do you protect the wheel wells from flying pebbles?

I just thought you guys would like to see what a set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires looked like after a day on a 2.5 mile road course...
HDDP...Got it! I didn't realize how extreme the teardown had been for your car. I appreciate your patience. Obviously you gave it a lot of thought before taking that plunge, and I know we all appreciate what you're doing to expand the Crossfire portfolio. Keenly watching for news of your first win...and all the subsequent ones.

Welcome to my world... LOL
Hddp, Man you have GOT to learned to stay out of the "marbles"...
That much build up is going to be hell to wear off, and it's going to be slippery as all get out until you wear it off.

Enjoy... You'll see how the car runs on open road courses.
