I'm heading out to Willow Springs tomorrow morning to get my annual TT tech inspection (if it doesn't rain) They are running a non-points race this weekend... Care to join me ?

Or perhaps we can caravan to No. Cal. for one of the events at Infineon...
*** i'll buy you a six pack. your the man HDDP! Infinion is awesome, i used to run the 1/4 mile there back when it was sears point and saw an ALMS there, chevy and audi dominated. it was awesome. i won't be able to make it tomorrow, too short of notice, but i will definitely be there in march. i can hear the dragsters in pomona as we speak, about a mile down the road. it would be treat if mmz came out too, 4 crossfires would be crazy.
so cal. crossfire racing stickers under development. i know me and srt-6 will rock them, anyone else? if mmz wants we can eliminate the so. cal and just make it cal.
That would be awesome x'ed... I'll have to see what time is available this year... March may be do-able for me getting down with you guys.
End of may is packed for me and three more contracts coming in at work are going to have me ... well... busy.

This could be pretty interesting... I'm sure the guys at NASA will freak with 3 Crossfires... They got all excited when MMZ ran with me last year... I'll have to run a HPDE event with you guys so we can get some shots of us in a train hauling butt around the track... Make sure you sign-up early, this event sells-out because the Arizona & No. Cal. Regions join us for this event... Let me know which day you are going to attend so I can rent a garage for that day... Perhaps a good idea to invite the guys from SI since they have been so nice to you guys...
Here's the track configuration we'll be running... It's the IMSA, ALMS configuration at the top of the page... It's a fast track since we use part of the banked oval (NASCAR COURSE) before diving into the infield road course... The SRT could hit the speed limiter easily on this track. My fastest speeds have been in the 135+ range on the front straight and into turn 1, 120+ on the middle straight... It will be interesting to see if I can carry more speed thru the banked turns with this new wing...

Hey Derek, do you remember who you talked to about allowing my roadster in HPDE? I got an email from them asking me for some proof that they are functional before they would let me sign up.

The e-mail said that they were functional, not cosmetic...

I really like those KW Coilovers that SRT6 is getting... I wish they were made when I did my suspension two years ago...
yeah i just don't want to drop $1,600 on suspension when my lease is up in july. i'm going to be turning it in for sure, so no need to drop that money. once i get my new car i will go a little more all out, evo, legacy gt, or gto.

PS: It cleared-up at about 12:30 today so I went out to Willow Springs to get my 2007 tech inspection. I spoke with Greg Greenbaum (NASA Director) and he said that the March 17th & 18th event will SELL-OUT in the next 48 hours... I'm just now registering for both days, but you guys need to make a quick decision which day, or days you are going to attend and sign-up ASAP...
PPS: I ran the last event of the day at 4:40 pm and could not believe how well this new wing helps the car at high speeds... I picked-up a good 20 mph on the sweeper (turn 7-8) without any rear end drift... This is the first time I hit 130 in the Crossfire on that part of the track, without floating to the outside edge... The wing might look stupid, but it sure as hell works...
