Marque Sports Racing update
Raced at Sandown International Raceway again on Sunday. Wet and raining to start with but cleared into a hot afternoon.
Ended up with a 1.32.3 fourth in class.
Trying to downsize the video which includes a 130 Kph tank slapper onto the main straight when I went into the corner a little hot and a 150 kph no brakes into stop downhill left hander at the end of the back straight grass cutting exercise.
Cars 1,2 were Datsun 240Z and 350Z third all on competition tyres and highly modified.
Standard brakes and tyres automatic limited coupe.

That looks like a fun, technical track.
Thanks for the encouragement, It is actually my third time out in this car, previously at Sandown and then Calder Park.

Another challenging circuit down to a 1.12 here on a 48c track temp day.
Next round is a Winton Motor Raceway about 3 hours north of my home.
Will post the Video as soon as I have time to transfer to DVD.

PS: how does the Crossfire handle upside down ?
No Prob HDDP.
I used to race Porsche Cup here for quite a number of years and have competed in Tarmac rallies such as Targa Tasmania and Classic Adelaide, but was challenged to a Marquee Sports day by my chairman and the rest is history.
Currently in search of a "historic" Racer to get serious about it.
The Ltd is actually a better track car than the SRT as it feels a little more balanced, and I have yet to have it upside down he he he, close though last time out as I think I have reached the limits of the "standard " car.
Rarely see another XFire on the road and no one has ever seen one on the track. I tow it there with my wife's Black Commander so it has a "nice" impact in the pits.
Winton is a VERY technical track but has been my "test" track for the Carrera Cup and the tarmac rally cars. I believe she will be very effective there.
