Here's my addition... Sorry I didn't have my good camera, nor the time to shoot more pics, or PS them so they look better before I posted them...

Next few are better when I shot them from the pits... When I get a chance, I'll Photoshop them and make them look better...

I'll start out with this video of a fast pass from session 1 on Sunday.

Hope to get some pictures up before we have to leave.

One picture from the pros and a few from my wife's camera. I did crop and downsize them some for the forums. Let me know if any of you want full sized ones.

Enjoy...

i'll post a picture the pro's pick of me passing the white 911. in one pic i'm about 18 inches away (side to side) from the 911 and im clearly looking at my instructor. probably not the smartest thing to do!! but at least i was comfortable. my last instructor, karen, said your car stops like a freight train jody. so i guess the brake upgrade really worked. sorry if my crazy screaming family scared your wife, us mexicans think everything is a fiesta.

I didn't realize you had Dr. Karen as your last instructor... She's a really nice lady... She drives the black Super 7 (looks like a Shelby Cobra) in my TT group...
At least if you crashed, you had a Dr. in your passenger seat.

she is actually the best instructor i had during the day. i guess that explains why she understood my discussion about cognitive difficulties so well.

Yeah, I was lucky to have Dr. Karen ride with me on the second session on Sunday, so I got some good technique pointers as well as some nice clapping from her side when I did it right.

Gotta love positive reinforcement!

My wife thought your family was wonderful Mike... no sweat. Besides she's from an Italian family... they get loud a lot too, so no permanent damage.

I just got in and will be looking through the various sessions for 'highlights' to build a video with... Stay tuned!

Edit: x'ed, if you can I'd like a full sized version of that first 'Four Amigos' picture you posted. Somehow my wife cropped off Derek's car a bit.

Thanks for the kind responses.

I don't know about crystal clear Andrew, it's a lot worse after compression, but at least most of the detail is still visible. Unlike YouTube where it would be compressed to large moving blobs...

I would love to post the nearly uncompressed DV... but it would probably blow my bandwidth limit for the month.

I'm still trying to compile a 'highlight' reel from all this... two hours of video to chug through... I'll keep you guys in the loop.

Andrew,

Here's the video at full resolution and at the same compression rate as I captured it. Shorter clip though. Just the spinout and no credits.

Enjoy!

Great video's, what type of speeds are you running at on the straights, looks fast but very smooth all the way.

I can say that at one point (after reviewing my videos) I think I hit 140 on the front straight and 125 into turn one most times and can carry between 100 and 110 through turn two and into the back straight before turn three.
