What's the best way to get the best launch on a AutoStick (non-srt)? I've heard you can hold one foot on brake and other on gas, and rev it to about 1,800 RPM then let go of brake as you're dropping the gas. Any tips?

 

Yea that's how to do it. It's called foot braking. Do realize though that you only want to do this for a short period of time because you are building line pressure in the transmission which will heat up rapidly. Heat build up in automatic transmissions is a very bad thing.
