Default First time at the drags.

Took the cfire to the drags this evening and had a great time. My reaction times were horrible but managed to get a couple of good runs. The track here is 1/8 mile. The best run I had was 9.875 @ 72.35. Anyone have any tips on launching etc....
2004 Limited Auto, straight pipe with k&n's. 93 Oct I also had the traction control disabled by removing the hydraulic unit wire. Next week I will see what times I get with traction control enabled.

Thumbs up Re: First time at the drags.

it's really not that bad to be a stick shift, because i've heard from guys that it's really hard to get a good launch! my best time ever was a 9.5 with just the k&n filters, i thought it was pretty good for an automatic.later
