I had a track day yesterday, which turned out to be real interesting. The day started sunny but quickly turned into a monsoon rain. My first run in the dry was an all time best for me and I'm now considered one of the big dogs. One more second faster and only the super heros remain. (Ariel Atom, Twin Turbo 350Z, 450 hp Subaru, you get the idea) I got another run just after a hard rain but all the rest were in a downpour. It was a blast but I had to run with the windows up and the air on to keep from fogging up. The track crew was easy going and we got to lap in the downpour to our hearts content. If you get a chance to drive at a track in the rain, do it. I highly recommend it. You really get a good feel for how abrupt movements affect the car and its speed. If your car is loose or tight it will be a hand full, and you will learn real quick what to improve to run faster in the dry.

I'm not fooled! I know you like seeing my videos. I'll keep posting them till the end of time so just keep watching and I'll be sated. The read out I have says my average speed was 69.297 mph over the course. I think it's incorrect but that's what it says. My time was faster than all the Porsches in attendance, all the Suby's. What was faster you ask? 1 Evo, 3 Hondas of which 2 are caged race cars, 1 Vortech supercharged 350Z and 1 Nissan Sentra. That Sentra is a freak. I swear it stands on 2 tires in the corners. He never brakes, just lifts the throttle from time to time.
