9.90's and your asking for lot's of mods. 10's you might be safe with only adding a roll bar and side bars that can be removable and driveshaft loop. Still not worth it. Cheaper to haul your car to either Maryland or California for the private track rentals that mbworld members set up. Unless your going to bracket race your car at sanctioned events.

Is your track NHRA or IHRA sanctioned? Or an independent? All have different rules. Best to get ahold of a membership rule book.

I would test all you can up to 1000' and use your brakes to be over 11.50. It may be harder than you think to get your car to launch. Once your making clean smooth passes to the 1000' mark, then your ready to let it all ride through the 1/4mile and just keep driving out of the parking lot when you get your timeslip.

Forgot to add in the part that some sanctions will require a firewall to completely separate the gas tank and driver's compartment.

Best to hit their website and see if they publish their rulebook. NHRA has some but most is in their rulebooks that come out each season. Starts January to most new rule books come out in december.

In your pic, from what I've seen to go under 11.50 you only need the grey part. The ones that cross the door on an angle can be removable so it's easier to get in and out.

to go quicker than 11.50 you need a 6 pt bar i believe, if you get one made locally ask them to build it out of chromoly as it is light and strong.... although expensive
