I'm now at the point where traction is a serious problem even at a well prepped track, and more importantly I can't let Steve (32Krazy) embarrass the Crossfire in his German-heavyweight SLK. As a result, I finally purchased some Hoosier race tires for the lightweight CLK wheels I bought a few months ago.

I'm going to kick some SLK butt next Saturday. Obviously all in good fun. I really want Steve in the 11's as much as I want them for myself.

I plan on running in Steel, AL next Friday and I wanted the wife to accompany me. Her driving a second car didn't go over well, so I decided to make both slicks fit in the hatch. After a little bit of persuasion they complied.

I have a hatch unoccupied by slicks. I can fit two large tanks in mine. And, based on my gauge situation, spare fuel is a good thing
