Just go and do it. No one expects you be turn killer times when you're first starting. If you want an experienced driver will even ride along with you. I'm telling you it's the most fun you can have with your cloths on! Man, I've been around a long time and had tons of fun and this is really at the top of the list!!!

I guess I'll just have to go try it like your saying! just take my time and not do anything stupid... I think I could do it... I've always have been a "good" driver... but what my class of good is different then your class of good... I'll just have to talk to Landho about it! and see when the next one in Michigan is! thanks again Wes!

I always like watching Xavier also!! ... That NSX is just a sweet looking car but for its price also like the Xfire style minus the complete huge power! ... but I love its look! Saw one on the road yesterday!

Boba.... If you do go do it, the most important thing you can do is walk the course over and over again and make a good mental map. Then just drive it. You get 4 runs and by the last one you'll be going a lot faster than you thought you would.

And you're more than Welcome!

Haha ! I just wanta show off the Xfire with the ECU out there... should change the opinion of a lot of the people who are against it because of its slowness... but I know it can handle! your videos prove my theory well

plus last time I was at one with the Xfire... not racing though... everyone was excited thinking I was bring it to race lol! but I had to disappoint them and tell them I had no idea what I was doing if I did...

They are magnetic. I got the magnetic sign material (30 mil) on ebay and applied vinyl letters and number. They really work great. Just have to use extra care to be sure the door and the back of the sign are very clean before you slap them on. I use Instant Detailer for that.

Wes, can you explain the .pdf of the results from July 4th? What are the green shaded cells supposed to be? For example, your "green cells" are .794 and 26.166. I'm guessing the yellow cell is the fastest recorded time of the 4 runs. And do you have to run with a number on the car?

The number is the way they identify which car is on the track for recording your times. If you don't have your own number they either give you a static stick number for the windshield (upper right hand corner) or they use white shoe polish.

The yellow number is the fastest run.

Thanks for clearing that up. Now, what about the green shaded cells at the far right in the .pdf? What are those?

Those are the PAX (PAX = Handicap based on class) adjusted times.

Congratulations Wes! It's good to see a Xfire in the mix, and with good times.
There is an article in the latest Motor Trend about Solo2 (autocross). One of the editors did it and had a blast. It was his first time. It was an interesting article for us who know little about autocross.

Thanks!!! It really is a Blast. I suggest to anyone that likes to drive fast and hard to try it. As is true with most everything in life.... The more you do it the better you get. The 350Z guys and I have gotten to be pretty good friends. They are no other cars that give them more fitts than my little Alabaster beauty.

But, all and all, it's a safe way to hotrod the car and meet some really great people too.
