Sorry guys, but the AMG spanked me today. :(
Congrats on joining the 11 sec. club Steve. You put the time and effort in moding your car and it has paid off. Good luck in Ohio in June.
the exotics i referred to were the austin martin that shoes up the sls m/b and the tt porsche. to be fair john im not really welcome at the good guys sho in nashville this weekend as its all american cars, you are . also im dont get any invites to the crossfires across america events either but i dont sweat it. i go to some and others i do something else. while fontana may be a xfire event i go to see the people not the cars. if valk shows up in a prius i wouldnt care as long as we can share a laugh.
e.c may be the sponser but the founder actually began it as a all bmw event. his good friend had a bitchn e55 so he showed up and the m/b were encouraged to attend the next yr. the drags came soon after and thats when e/c got involved. so they havent forgotten their roots merely moved to products that they can make money off of.
mimi in all fairness it was 66* for the 11.9 the best i could do in the heat was a 12.1

No worries on Timmayfest bro, go and enjoy. Tim himself told me I was welcome to come up, but something about driving 9 hours to have to park away from the show kinda kills it for me. Call me crazy

Back to your 11's... I'm curious about the low MPH at the end of the run... was that due to heat soak from the pulley stack? I still have factory heat exchanger and un-separated cooling systems, and pulled 111 mph...
john the low top end was due to 150* iat which pulls timing and also i drop 7 psi fuel pressure at wot so again timing is being pulled and fattens the car up. i drop 7* of timing and it kills the top speed.
staging delays are killing me. i cant run the i/c pump when the car is off because the tiny battery wont hold up. so if the car shuts off the heat builds and if its running the pump wont engage until the s/c engages so im building big heat. 120* when i start the burnout.
sl55 fuel pump ordered as well as 1 step colder plugs and killer chiller is moved to the top of the list for cooling. with 20* of timing thru the pass i should be back to 115 /116 mph at the traps

Hulk Smash!
Just a thought,If the skinnies are smaller diameter than the stock 18's, The car will have less weight transfered to the rear and will slow you down. How were the 60fts for each run?
skinnies were 18" also 60 ft times were about normal 1.7 to 1.8
