MOPAR Drags
It's happening tomorrow.
And tomorrow evening I'll post some new numbers for REDCROSS and any others that show.
I know they won't have any Crossfire goodies at the "Flea Market" but who knows..........
someone might have a 100HP Dry/Wet NOS setup I could use!!! Hummmmmm!!!!!

Well, there was a Negative side and a Positive side to todays events.........................................
One Negative was that the weather was foggy and misty most of the morning.
Another Negative was that no other Crossfires showed up I'm sure because of the weather.
Another Negative was that I had spent hours cleaning REDCROSS, to no avail.
Another Negative was that I had to reclean everything all over again once I got to the track.
Another Negative was that since the track was so wet we (after a LATE start) were only able to run 1/8th mile and NOT the full 1/4 mile.
And Another Negative is there was NO NOS setup for sale.
BUT............................................... ...................
Positive was there were a hundred folks with a million questions admiring REDCROSS.
Positive was there were lots of neat old MOPARS...........New HEMIs, 340s,360s,440s and 426 HEMIs everywhere. Cudas, Satellites, Coronets, Chargers, Challengers, Super Birds and even an AMX and a Hornet.
Positive was the sun finally came out and some of the "BAD" racers did their thing.
Positive was that I got to run REDCROSS with my foot on the back of the front license plate...........
Against a Dark Blue MAGNUM RT with the HEMI (as all RTs have) AND....................................
WON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!
Actually REDCROSS did not beat him.............................I did!!!
He went faster and quicker but was "Asleep at the Switch" and I left quicker and got there quicker.
GREEN LIGHT ALL THE WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, overall I think there were more Positive things that made the day GREAT!!!!!!
I didn't continue with the drags because I found out what I wanted to..................
R/T=.296,60'=2.330,330'=6.461 and 1/8th mile=9.845 at 72.45MPH.
I even left before the Show Winners were announced because I wasn't there for that. I just entered for "Choice Parking"
Here are a few pics of some of those old MOPARS and a couple of pics with REDCROSS being admired.
