Thank you Jim! It was a great day and the times were just getting better with each run. Best trap was 117.90 MPH and best ET of 11.830. Looking forward to seeing if the TCU tune will add that little bit I need for an 11.6 run. Still chasing Neal's time on the same wheels you both ran on...lol.
Great job Chuk. So you have found the ideal wheel and tire set up for drag racing? I've got a set of Mercedes wheels 16X7 1/2,with Mickey Thompson ET Streets P255/50/R16. I'm tempted to cut out the fenders and let a wider tire and wheel hang out. Squirrel Crusher
That's Awesome!
I will have to keep an eye on you know that you are getting really close.
just as reference I am running 245 40 18 MT ET Street Radial II

Congratulations ChuK. You've got your car dialed in and running hard! Good job!!!
Thanks guys! Squirrel Crusher and Beaner, I'm running old MT ET Street 26x10.50 16s on Jim's (then Neal's) MB Tolimann lightweights (12.9 lbs). Don't know how the car keeps getting faster when I'm still running the first and only tune I've had.
maybe it's the driver lol the more you run the car the faster it gets,, then you change something and have to start all over.
Haven't heard I need a driver mod yet...lol
not yet your doing great,, .2 = a lot but I have confidence u will make it this year.
what air pressure are u running. I think i was running 16

You ever compared your mph with regular wheels versus lightweight wheels and dragtires,I always do 90 on heavy chrome wheels and 114 on the bigend 93 with clk wheels and 116 on the big 20psi with 255-50-16 my eyes street ss,but that was in the summer in hot weather, good run you had,
