As I said before, there is not much the crossfire can take. I lost to a legacy, 350z, and a 96 Z28, and an evo. I did beat an STi, only due to the fact they guy missed a shift, other wise he was toasting me. And I did beat a 02 Mustang GT, again I believe i beat the driver not the car.

If you think it can take you, it probably can.

In comparison, my srt-4 has only one loss. It was to a modded 03 Cobra. But I have beat a 96 z-28(same one), an Evo, a turbo'ed RSX type s, and two n/a ones, and another 350z and a S2000. I want to run against a Legacy GT now, as that was just shameful losing to one.

The xfire may not be the fastest car on the road, But it is the best looking. The style that gets you from point A to B is more importent than how fast you get there...........People stop to look at the xfire not cars like the SRT 4 its still a Nion................

I've race of a roll an E55 sedan beat him for about 100ft then he's SC hit and bye, bye.

You'll find off a light with large 19" wheels it tough but in a curve you'll win 95% of the time .

And if you have to stop quick you'll be the one without the NOSE JOB !

The real answer is, it depends. I don't really advocate stoplight racing because in most cases someone is going to get hurt. That said, its still way to subjective. Was the other driver really trying? Mostly you don't know. If so how far did you go 1/8, 1/4 a mile, it matters, because at some point someones common sense, or fear of arrest, or accident will allow the less sensible (I'll admit to being on both sides at different times in my life) to "WIN". Our cars were not built to be "RACE CARS". If you ask DC it was designed as a two seat touring car. Much like the TC or Reatta. The car is fast under certain conditions. For the money its hard to find one that does everything (accelerate, handle, brake, gas milage, while looking this good) as well. There are lots of cars that are faster in a straight line, will pull more g's on the skidpad, etc. The bottom line is think about why you bought the car. Whatever tipped the scales for you that is what you should dwell on. Otherwise you're going to wind up not liking your choice for what is probably someone else's reason. Drive your car and enjoy it and don't dwell on what it won't do, be happy with what it does well.

Another way to look at this is that our cars would beat about 95% of the cars, 97% of the trucks, tubs and SUV's and about 2% of the cycles that are on the road. Unfortunately the majority of the bunch that you could beat probably don't care and wouldn't accept a challenge from you anyway. If you bought this car to play stop light bandit, you bought the wrong car.

Actually people stop and look at my srt-4 all the time, and ask me about it. It is shocking. I guess its the psssssssssssst sound from the BOV. Anywhere from the young good looking ladies to the 60 something year old in his XLR. And its neon not nion.

Only thing i have really been up against is a late model Trans Am 98-00 not sure which model year.
Unless he was playin with me, which he could have been, I stayed up to him till we hit about 70 or so then his HP took over.

I totally agree with onefortypointsix,

What Hobbymanbill said absolutely true. Think of it this way, we are all lucky enough to be able to sit around and invent a wish lists for a car, that is for some unobtainable. I think that it's very cool to see that, this many people are all fortunate enough to be able to share the same experiences.

Then at 70 is when he actually hit it. The crossfire is no match for LS1 powered f-bodies. even the srt-6 would have one heck of a time with one.

Yes we know your fish stories dan. You also beat 911's and ferraris. I think you forgot to mention you have the SL65 drivetrain in your crossfire. LOL.

wtf are you all talking about? do you all have limiteds?

i've beaten everything at the light with my srt6. most of the time its some idiot in a mustang that wants to square off.

on the highway i've had 350z's and even an m3 try to race me and i've accelerated faster than both in 4th gear.
